    Reset Square Enix Account Password Not Sending Emails

    After I installed the new PS3 copy of FFXIV to upgrade it towards the PS4 I became locked out of my account. I found the Mog Station service for the password reset and tried it several times but received no email. I submitted a ticket on Thursday and received the "open support ticket" email on Saturday. Somehow the cookies on this work computer allow me to stay logged in so I'm making this thread in hopes I get my email asap. Specifically I don't want to miss out on the console version upgrade.

    Fixed!

    Called support and had my email switched from AOL to my Yahoo email. Supposedly people are having trouble with AOL. Swap emails if you use AOL.

    Did you check your junk and other folder for the email? Remember the email is case sensitive. Meaning i had a issue where i was not getting the email i call and the support told me. Your L in your @live is cap once i put my email right with the L cap i got the email.

    Other reason could be you put in other email for your account and the one you trying to put for a pw reset is not the one on your account. Or it could be the case sensitive thing.

    It's not your email host.
    It's just SE skipping mails or sending them late.

    I had the very same issue yesterday, I actually have the issue quite often but yesterday was the worst.. took me 30 minutes to receive 2 emails out of like 7 attempts I made including ones to just simply reset my password.

    What they need to do is come up with a more sophisticated method of account protection lockout instead of just locking out every time it's on a different IP address..
