FFXIV and Family Time

1) Know when to get off... bad things happen if you don't. GF/Wife agro is something that should be avoided at all time.

2)(Better Option) Get the kids and Wife to play ... It is called a family night a time for the whole family to bond and come together and play.... just have to find a way to sell that >.>

I had two friends in FFXI that played with their family. Hubby, Wife, 2 kids for one family and Hubby, Wife and 1 kid for other family. They had a great time together and it was fun hanging out with them all ^^

My previous girlfriend didn't have a problem with it (broke up with her for non-gaming related reasons). I wouldn't bother with someone who did. I would rather be alone than with someone who tries to control every aspect of how I spend my time.

I keep telling people in game (mostly tends to be guys) who complain about their girlfriends one piece of advice that I will live by for myself as well (I'm a girl). If you are an avid gamer and that is what you like to do as a hobby, then please only date other gamers. It will save you and the other person a lot of trouble and heartache and your online friends don't have to hear you complaining about RL aggro all the time :P

Some people get lucky though that they date a non-gamer and end up converting the person. My ex-b/f wouldn't even attempt to do anything with me online, considered it a waste of his precious baseball news reading time Funny thing is, I started playing online games because when I was over at his place for a few days I would be bored while he was at work or when he was at home and was busy watching baseball and I needed something to do!

Yeah that's a good idea. On top of it you don't have trouble finding a group to go do stuff when you play with your family :P
