Pvp and High end game stuff.
They DID IT! <3

About 85% of the game I don't play or have/nt done.

Crafting
Either takes too much time, too much gil, or a combination of both. Sadly I lack either so keeping up with this is out of the question.
PvP
Been playing MMOs for 14 years now and during that time I've learned one very important law of PvP. The primary focus of the MMO has an inverse relationship with PvP balance. That is, if it's a PvE-focused game, PvP will be unfairly skewed towards certain roles. If it's a PvP-focused game, PvE content will be minimal and/or lackluster in quality. For you math nerds, that's PvE = 1/PvP :P
That's about it.

- Chocobo Racing
- Gathering Classes
- Coil
- Extreme Primals (Have done a few)
- PvP
- Sightseeing (That thing is so boring that I totally forgot it existed)

So far, for me...
Guildhests - I don't do
Sightseeing Log - Something I regret doing I never have time for
Dungeons - Don't normally do this straightaway, after unlocking it, but leave it as a last resort to leveling up
Wolves' Den - Thought would be interesting, but gone off it completely
Triple Triad - Liked it at first, gone off it for now as I'm focusing on the game itself and leveling up

What do I ignore in the game so far? Lets see here...
Extreme Mode Primals (Haven't done a single one yet. Might get around to it when I have absolutely nothing else to do)
Binding Coils of Bahamut (Save for turns 1, 3, and 4)
PvP (I've NEVER liked PvP. Much prefer co-op and what not)
Sightseeing Log (It's more something I just don't have time to get around to yet. Been ignoring it in the meantime)
And... that's it. Still working on them relics weapons, and I eagerly await all the new content coming out in Heavensward, especially the new jobs and more Hildebrand.![]()

Everything except
Mainstory, DutyEx, CT, Coil and TT.
Dem casuals I know...
FCOB - I'd like to get into this but my schedule makes being in a static difficult and content like this is generally not worthwhile to try to PUG. I'm not a fan of very hard content (please don't flame me for saying this, just being honest). Even if you play perfectly, you need 7 other players that do too. And if you don't play perfectly and are trying to learn, other players can get really frustrated/impatient with mistakes.
As you fall behind, it gets harder and harder to catch up because player expectations become more tilted towards people knowing the fight and accepting only experienced players. I think it should be easier to recover from player mistakes and less likely for a single player to screw everything up. Like, failed mechanics should mean the fight gets harder, not cause instant deaths/wipes. This would make it so that over-geared players who are just doing it for the story/clear are much more likely to get their win. You'd still have to be good to farm the content when it was current.
Right now, echo doesn't do as much as I believe it should and I know many players who are too intimidated by the content (and the bad attitudes of other players) to even try. I think this is bad game design and dramatically cuts down the number of things there is to do for "casual" (I hate that term) players who still want to gradually improve the gear of their characters. Maybe make relic-like gear for each gear slot as an alternative to running hard content?
Just to be clear, I'm not saying that endgame raids necessarily need to be easier, I just think that players who aren't raiding should have more options than doing the same few things over and over. I'd also love it if BiS pieces weren't all slanted towards raiding. While it makes sense that the best items come from hard content, I think it would be fair if some of the best items came from other sources too (crafting, for example).
I'm sure I'll tackle Alexander in 3.0 but I suspect it won't be as fun as other parts of the game. Statics that fall apart because of player schedules and PUGs that disband after 1 or 2 wipes isn't fun to me.
pvp, as much as I'd LOVE to do it, after a 250 minute queue time I said screw it.
Yeah PvP queues are too long. SE should make PvP both more rewarding (better gear with exclusive stats, like what morale used to be) and more fun (better class balancing, more maps, no GC restrictions). And Frontline Roulette needs to give PvP EXP and Wolf Marks.
