Why are you using 1 piece of gear ilv ? The other pieces don't contribute to your dps, right ?So i finished my relic and i felt my damage didn't go as high as i was expecting it to go. when i did some math i realized that even though the relic ilvl had grown by roughly 18% compared to a 115 weapon the 135 weapon damage had only increased roughly 9%. Why is this? I mean is not like dps is a problem but why not increase the damage with the ilvl and make a real difference?
Btw, weapon usually counted as 2 slot I believe D:

Weapon damage is linear. It goes up the same for every ilvl. You are attaching a % to a linear function and can't figure out why it doesn't match. With the current trend they set, weapon damage will increase by a smaller % every ilvl because it's adding the same linear damage.
Every 10 ilvls starting from ilvl 50 (50,60,70,80 etc) weapon damage has increased by 2 or 3 all the way to 130 for physical weapons (excludes caster and bard cuz they have different scales). No more. No less. Adding 2 damage at Lv 50 to 60 brings WD from 37 to 39. Is a 5.4% increase. The same 2 damage boost between ilvl 100 to 110 (49 to 51) is only 4.1% because a static linear increase will be a smaller part of the whole cuz you starting base damage is growing but the boost isnt. But this is made up for by the rest of your gear, main stat and secondaries which all come in greater quantities as ilvl goes up, thus upping total ilvl creates very large dps increases.
From ilvl 50 to 130 (80 ilvls) we have gained 20 wd. That avg to 0.25 wd per lvl. Or 2.5 every 10. 1.25 for every 5. Amazingly all 5 lol increments have been 1 to 2 (1.25 avg). Every 10 has been 2 to 3 (2.5 avg). Some basic logic tells you they are just rounding thus all 10 lvl is 2-3. Every 5 being 1-2 but usually 1.
It's not broken. It's a pattern.
Math comprehension friends, math comprehension.

well i found the answer to my question many posts ago (you would know this if you read)when i realized the wd was going up by 3 every 5 ilvls (from 110 to 135) in the case of mnk at that it was not based on percentage or anything.
idk why you're answering like i should have known this all along in the condescending tone just because i made you look like the moron you are. But thank you for your condescending wrong answer (since not all weapons increase by 2 or 3 every 10 ilvls as opposed to "weapon damage increase by an specific amount x every x ivls according to kind") and for again implying i said the system is broken and didn't just ask a question... in the meantime go to the corner with game "smart" and talk about how you both owned the straw-man you created.
