[Suggestion] Add Official Poll(s)

Have an official Poll, where players can vote on their most sought after improvements to the game. Allow the players to submit whatever they want, have them frequently, post patch or a monthly basis.

This will allow the community to express their opinions in a more effective manor while simultaneously reducing "I want this" "We need this" "When are we getting this" posts that mirror other posts.

After which the <insert title of SE personnel> can comment on the larger collective opinion.

Example:

Poll comes back

1. Mail System
2. Streamlined Auction House System
3. X
4. Y
5. Z

Then the <SE personnel> comments on each primary topic.

Mail System
The Mail system is going to be introduced in patch 1.21 (goal - December) when the massive overhaul in our server side configuration is implemented.

Auctionhouse System
As with the Mail System the Auction House system is also being implemented with the server side overhaul in patch 1.21 (goal - December)

No thanks. Polls are the sorce of all this s#!t...

If we had a playerbase capable of evaluating game contents and rationaly answering a poll then it would be a great thing...but here you have mainly FFXI, WoW and Aion players, with them all actually just wanting to play the MMO they came from with FFXIV graphics...and the end is what you se here...

IMO polls should be only made if they were for curiosity purposes only...like "How do you feel the battle pace since 1.18?"...it would be just for both players and devs curiosity and not being something used to base decisions on.
