Gear Sets - Healing (MND-Based)
Because of Disciplines and Armoury System in FFXIV, It's hard to develop Chemist to be gun-using healer as DoW. For example, Chemist/Alchemist look like DoH more than DoW in FFXIV. Healing Potency based on MND but only DoM gear have it. I think we don't need more gear type, Right? Moreover, Machinist is already using Gun in 3.0.
I think if we adapt concept from Flintlock (Tactics A2) + Item Shooter (JP name of X-2 Alchemist), We can create DoM who can use Magic cannon for healing and have Mixing actions for Buff/Debuff.
Example Actions
Cannons - Basic Heal/Attack actions, consume MP for launching magic cannon.
- Cure Cannon - Main single target heal.
- Regen Cannon - Grants healing over time effect to a single target. Add. Effect Regen
- Shield Cannon - Protects the target with 5 charge of shield, increasing the effectiveness of healing spells on that target by 20%, and causing attacks to heal the shielded target.
- Spring Cannon - Main AoE Heal, creates a healing spring at targeted area, restores HP of all party members who enter this area over time.
- Wall Cannon - Bestows Protect and Shell to all party members in targeted area.
- Teleport Cannon - Teleport quickly to the targeted location.
- Rune Cannon - Main single target attack.
- Blaster Mine - Delivers magic damage with Blind.
- Chaos Grenade - Delivers magic damage with a potency of x to target and all enemies near it + Slow.
Mix - Buff/Debuff actions. Combine 3 actions such as "Red Stone/Blue Water/Green Dust" with "Mix" action for various effects like Mundra but consume MP instead of having cooldowns.
- Red + Mix = Swift Potion - Consume Regen effect on target for instantly heals.
- Blue + Mix = Arctic Wind - Delivers ice damage with Bind.
- Green + Mix = Ziz Venom - Deals unaspected damage over time.
- Red + Blue + Mix = Ether Shell - Refreshes MP of all party members in targeted area.
- Blue + Green + Mix = Haste Shell - Increases skill/spell speed of all party members in targeted area.
- Red + Green + Mix = Poison Shell - Creates a poison pool at targeted area, dealing damage with a potency of x to any enemies who enter.
- Red + Blue + Green + Mix = Final Elixir - Bestows Regen, restores own HP and the HP of all nearby party members.
Stash - Utility actions. Same as X-2, use a hidden item. Takes time, but no item are expended.
- Spare Elixir - Restores own HP/MP likes Aether flow.
- Spare Pheonix Down - Combat Resurrection.
- Spare Remedy - Removes a single detrimental effect from target. (Same as Esuna and Leeches)
Special Limit Break -
Final Phoenix - Restores full HP and revives all KO'd party members with full HP.
