Haukke Manor - for my education

Hello,
relative noob here. Last night I sucessfully completed Haukke Manor (not the hard version). At one point - I believe it was after we cleared the basement the members of my party seemed to teleport away to face the final boss. In all the confusion I may have missed something and could not figure out how to do that myself. shortly one of my party had to come get me and lead me to the boss fight like a child. I will be running that dungeon again for various reasons and don't want to let my party down. Does anyone know how the teleportation (something about a crystal, I believe) was done? And - my gratitude to the party members who took such good care of me.

They used their return ability. The one that usually takes you to where your "bound" in the overworld.

They used "return" which can be found in General, under Actions and Traits.
Not sure why they didn't just tell you that. But oh well.

The reason they use the return ability in the first place is because this is the only dungeon that has you backtracking once you beat the final boss. I guess that's why I like this place so much. That and it's right after Thousand Maws, arguably the most boring dungeon in the game.

A handy tip, if you can't be bothered looking for the action/don't want to hotkey it, you can just type /return.

it's the only dungeon that has you backtrack, but doesn't provide the teleport for you

Yes, as others have said, it's Return. If you use it inside a dungeon it will send you to the starting point for that dungeon. This can also be used in dungeons that have one-way zone lines (like Brayflox HM) if you want to go back and pick up missed chests after the rest of the group leaves too.

I don't understand why they just didn't tell you. It makes no sense. I always make sure to tell new players to use Return, usually twice. Some people. Ugh.

I usually put the auto translate of /return because some people don't understand what it means. I think its easier to correlate.
