Honestly, I kind of enjoy the horribly broken English.

What they should do if they wanna make money is assemble an anthology of their horrible phrases and pass it off as some new-age philosophy.

Funnily enough, the guy I know who bought gil was also complaining all the time about how empty he feels and lonely he is.

Basically the people buying gil hate life... isn't it ironic that if you don't work for anything you have, go meet people, make friends and achieve based on your own efforts that you would feel depressed and lonely?

I remember enjoying Skyrim for 2 full playthroughs and the 3rd playthrough I was dying to play again so why not... I decided to mix it up and use the console cheats... suffice to say the fun was sucked out of it and I pretty much just stopped within a few hours and didn't go back >_>

Plus people can pretty much know when someone has bought gil if they start bragging like I know someone who bought every ex primal clear and they are a FRESH level 50 with no crafts leveled either... like ok buy gil much? They can't even get an epeen boost cuz we know that they suck and fail at video games.

So why buy gil when there's ZERO satisfaction or pride in doing so? Why buy it when it just serves to depress your more than you already are? It's psychologically baffling to me.

Its the mentality of "I want to play the game to get what I want without actually playing the game." And then they go complain about how boring the game is because they have nothing to do.

More and more people on Behemoth are making use of /busy. I know I loathe coming off of /busy for even 20 seconds. I've actually made my own LS for friends who aren't in my FC or other link shells, just so I can talk to them.

Vespar PLEX" are then able to be sold or bought in-game, allowing the seller to gain big stacks of ISK (eve currancy). It is in essence an indirect form of RMT.

wildstar did this, wow is starting to do this and its said to hurt RMT.

I don't understand what happened. This game was pretty decent at launch compared to other MMOs and RMT spam, but ever since I came back a few months ago its just the worst.

I checked my chat log earlier to confirm it, and I was literally getting 1 or more spam tells every single minute for 40 minutes straight. Every. Single. Minute. I had to set myself to busy. There's also a shouter in Limsa on my server that has been there for god knows how long. What is going on with SE and this? What changed?

What changed?

Gold Saucer is what changed. That single addition brought a FLOOD of players back to the game who'd lost interest. RMT were quick to pick up on that, and they have greatly increased their advertising efforts.

We can expect another boost in RMT once Heavensward rolls around.

What I hate about RMT, they are constantly knocking your door or ringing your doorbell every 30 seconds.

That is how annoying and harassing it is.

I thought it was funny when someone named sdjskj sdjsdj, level 1 tried to friend me. Mmmhmmm...Gil spammers were bad at launch, and they are bad now, I just came back from a year break from the game and see nothing has been fixed about hacks and spamming. Pretty sad.
