    Job lvl 55 -60 Stories

So this question just popped in my head...

Do you think SE can develop a proper story to continue where each Job Story left off with only lvl 51-60 as their level limit for the Job Storyline in 3.0.

Currently in 2.0 era the Jobs have lvl 30-50 for their story which is a lot more room that allowed them to build the story up for the Boss fight and Arc 1 story conclusion at their lvl 50 Job story compared to lvl 51-60 for the next part of the Job storyline.

I'd honestly be okay if they spent those resources into a better main scenario experience.

Less fetch-questing, more grandeur, more heroism.

To answer your question, I think they could do a good job.

There were only 6 quests per job on average. They could easily make 6 more quests distributed through 10 levels. They could also do one really involved quest. The 10 levels really has no baring their creativity.

Considering that Yoshida said leveling from 50 to 60 will "take a lot longer" then previous levels, I can see it possible for job quests to occur every two levels in the future.

EDIT: Also, to those who don't think there'll be quests, they DID confirm job quests will be taken from where they left off at 50.

I hate these quests. They drive me completely nuts running back and fourth for hours on end. I'm one of those people who doesn't care about watching the main scenario cutscenes, so I esc through everything and do it as fast as possible.

I don't so much see them continuing the Job storylines as much both class and Job storylines. Remember, Jobs aren't leveled, they are equipped. Classes are leveled. As such, it's the classes that will be getting the most attention. More abilities, more traits, more cross-class slots. With the level cap raising only 10 levels we'll likely see two class quests and one Job quest. This is because Job abilities take up a cross-class slot and the classes will only be getting two more if the pattern holds. Would be rather limiting if your Job took up both slots.

But don't forget, the new jobs won't have classes~ So there will likely be some sort of change.

Except that we didn't have any class quest past lvl30.
    And actually, we had 6 class quests : lvl1, lvl5, lvl10, lvl15, lvl20, lvl25, lvl30 and...6 jobs quests lvl30, lvl35, lvl40, lvl45, lvl45, lvl50

The Job Quests tend to all have a solid ending to them. If anything, they would probably end up being completely new story arcs. However, it is also possible that the NPC trainers from the original Job Quests end up returning, or the Job quests happen with new NPCs, but it is the Soul Crystal itself that grants the knowledge of new abilities rather than some NPC.

I am honestly very excited for what 3.0 will bring!

Well each Job story end with the the Job trainers saying they will be returning in the next Job quests along with small hints to what may happen in the next Job Story Arc.

Such as the Warrior Job story, for example, with the little girl and Curious Gorge's Brother.

I would use the Ninja Job story ending as a example but that will be spoling the new Ninja Job Story
