Halation <Arise> General Recruitment Thread

This thread will be used for all general purpose recruitment and announcements from the FC that have any notable merit in the future.

Free Company Information

Halation was founded on the 25th November 2014 shortly after the founding group cleared T9 for the first time. Despite only leading a 7 member group at this time, we continued into Final Coil which ended up leading us to clearing T13 in little under 10 weeks causing us to be the 4th fastest clearing group from starting progression to finishing on Phoenix. Looking towards the current raiding tier, we've been able to achieve a server second result for clearing Alexander Savage 3!

Despite many members not having prior high-level raiding experience or being comfortable with the type of raid environment this entails, the group leadership were able to nurture and integrate these fundamental aspects. This lead to us being able to make consistent progress during the course of progression and thereafter for all additional content we've been challenging up to this point.

Our aims looking forwards are to continue making consistent progress on Savage Alexander: Gordias and to continue to solidify our main raiding group for hardcore progression for all upcoming raid content.


Applicant Information

For any potential candidate thinking about applying to the FC for any raiding position, please check the information posted below.

- You are required to have a clearly working microphone and must be able to communicate effectively in English. Having a stable internet connection is additionally highly desirable.

- Be able to commit to our 12 hour weekly raid schedule, starting at 8pm until 11pm GMT (Server Time) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

- Being flexible with your personal schedule for heavy progression on the release of new content will be a boon to your application.

- Having the mindset of both being able to play your given class to it's optimal performance and always looking for new ways to maximize both your own and the groups performance. Having a personal enjoyment for theory crafting is important here.

- Willingness to partake and socialize with the Free Company and the main raiding group, being active in-game outside of standard raid times, if your schedule allows is extremely desirable from any potential candidate.
