Final melds for artisan offhands

I got all lucis tools and have now full BiS complects for all classes, but offhands are still unmelded.
In the Internet i see only one recommendation - "meld 15 craftsmanship at least", but i am not sure that this recommendation is for lucis.
I tried to check 4* progress sequences at ffxivcrafter com and didn't found any acceptable variants with less than 5 hits even with crship 505 (melds crship+17 and fc buff)
Pbp pbp rs rs ends with my current crship 478, but this variant is too risky
Pbp pbp rs cs2 cs2 works with crship 478 too

So, what to do?
- Save gil and don't meld offhand at all?
- Meld control? Which cap is there? I already have control 424 - it's more than needed for 4*

You can go economic and only meld +3 CP to them. If you got full melds and artisans in the rest of the slots you don't need any more stats. All of the meld suggestions on the net assume you don't have a Lucis.

Maybe ) CP+3 ball costs 15K in my world, so i can simply remove materia from my offhands if will decide to do normal melds. 120k for crafter is not a money.

I'd put in Control 4 and overmeld the CP 3. That still leaves you enough room to change the melds later without having to wipe anything off.

Also, 424 control before melding off hands.. you're missing 2 control somewhere should be 426 fully melded minus the off hand melds.

424 is the max before OH melds if you go with +craftmanship/CP in the Artisan's Apron instead of + 2 control.

Yes. I have in my arpon crship+18 control+4 and cp+3
And now i don't know what i can get from 355 cp if i will meld offhands.
As i understood 352 cp is enough for food buffed 3-4 star rotations, and there is 1 star 40 dura hq rotation that needs 358 cp. My current rotation hits >85% on 1 star, >77% on 2 star and costs 348 cp. It seems that i will get nothing from these 3cp

You're not calculating the ToTT procs.. 3 CP is a very little difference, but depending on how many ToTT you can pick up along the way, that's the difference between being able to use your finisher or not.

At the very least, it's the difference between a SH2 and regular SH. If you end up with 10 extra durability on your finisher, i.e. 40 dura when you need Byregots and 2 CS2 to finish. The 3 extra CP will allow you to use SH2 for the finisher instead of SH. It's likely not going to be a game breaker, but it at least has SOME potential to be useful while others do not.

I was a little wrong - there are 4 hit progress sequences for 4 star that requires more crship than i have
Pbp ingen2 ht*2 and standard synthesis under steady hand at the end. This works from crship 479, i have 478 (
With fully melded as control+4, crship+18, cp+3 offhand it works with unbuffed cs2 at the end.
