Sure, there's a chance you can join a group of friends in progress for your first time, but lately there are a lot of players who decide to join a dungeon in progress when they have NEVER done the dungeon before.

I'm suggesting that people can NOT join an in progress run if they have never completed it once, as a lot of the time they will end up skipping a boss or two and not learn the mechanics, then be complained at in a future run for 'having done the dungeon but not know the boss fights' and just cause more headaches all around.

sure, there are players who don't mind teaching newbies to a dungeon that drop in half way, but a lot of the time we see people speed running, or even the language barrier keeping people from communicating and teaching people said dungeon.

At the very least if four people start a dungeon at the same time, even with the language barrier, they can still learn the dungeon from the start.

And remember, you can't join an expert roulette until you have done ALL DUNGEONS in that, so you at the very least know what to expect.
