May be an issue with the routing then. BGP may not be compensating for specific addresses. You can run traces to your world service and the lobby server (neolobby02.ffxiv.com) to compare the routes. May be something odd in the analytics to that specific endpoint--most likely a VLAN towards the end is hosed. Seen it happen before, and it was on Ormuco's hardware...Time Warner contacted them for me and it got resolved a few days later.
The trick was I was working with TWC's Tier3 techs to track it down though...was nothing to do with SE, but a problem amongst the involved ISP's and their routing policies.
well after a lot of crap i have found the server the routing is getting stuck on...i have contacted the server master and explained the issue...i hope to hear back from them at some point today and i will let people know what i hear from them
Been having the same issue for several days now , been on the phone w/ tier 3 asking me all types of crap i have know idea, but when i told him other companies are up and running he instantly said ok im gathering all this info and im gonna research and find what companies we use and ill call u back ..lmao u threaten to leave them then they wanna help you .SE said i was timing out on there end and on mine , u would think after 3 days and even more for others something would be done .![]()
