Having multiple macros active at the same time.

So most everyone makes macros, as the can add some usefulness to most moves. My question is, is there any way to have two macros active at once? I've created a few macros to notify me that the ability I just used is off cool down, since these moves are on a seperate bar and I cannot see them once they are ready. The problem I just realized is that if I use another macro during the "wait" time frame it cancels the first macro, and I don't get the notification. I tried seeing if macro lock would work but that just prevented any other macros from being used. Certain macros I dont mind having interupted but others I need/want them to remain active while I use other ones. Does anyone have any ideas on what can be done?

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

No, it's not possible. One alternative is to keep an extra hotbar visible (even if you're not using it directly) just to show any long-cooldown skills that aren't on your main hotbar. (I'm assuming you're using a controller and cross-hotbars, given the reference to not being able to see skills from a separate hotbar.) Like Houston009 described/showed in this post, you can use a straight hotbar just for cooldown visibility while your crossbar is used for actually activating the skills:

    Something like this:

However, I have buffs such as B4B and IR on both crossbars, so there is no point in putting it on the hotbar.

I assume this would work if I played on PC, but I play on PS3, yay?, though this setup might work once I get a PS4, since I know it supports keyboard play, so that might work as long as I can have both up at the same time, and not be expected to press any of those buttons, O.O

Basically what Niwashi said is the best option. I play on PS4 and I do the same thing. By adding additional vertical/horizontal hotbars you can place your cooldowns on there (In addition to your cross hotbar) This allows you to see all your cooldown timers even if they aren't on your main hotbar. I use mine strictly for cosmetic purposes. I don't actually click them with the touch pad. They are there so I can keep an eye on them. There is a setting which allows you to turn off unused slots on these additional hotbars to keep it cleaner. This is still easily done on PS3. FYI for PS3 players, if you press L1+L3 you can activate mousemode. I think its that or it might be L1+R3. Can't remember. Either way this is how you can drag and drop abilities to any additional hotbars you may have. Here is just another example.
