What should be the stats needed for soloing with a gladiator and how different would be it be for partying(tanking)?
I've read somewere the stats should be setup this way/// 50%VIT 35%DEX and 15% STR

Doesn't really matter anymore does it? It's all changing in less then a month anyways.
Class forums ftw!
For partying you should have STR higher than DEX.
STR increases the damage you mitigate with a shield where as DEX just increase evasion.
GLA is NOT an evasion tank.
Personally I cap VIT at 174 then focus the rest in MND and STR (STR to 80 then the rest in MND)
edit: DEX also increases accuracy, but you can easily compensate for that with +accuracy rings if you need to.
Though accuracy isn't too important to a tank.

So you would put VIT for most points, 50% sounds about right? Then i guess it goes 35% str 15% accu?
I don't get the MND part tho' ... isn't that for MPs? Should i care about my MP as a Gladiator? Also i've seen a post where someone described the best abilities for a GLD and it had a lot of boost Magic ATK/Accuracy spells in there but why would i need that since I'm not a caster?
EDIT:
I found a GLD guide... quite outdated tho' so i dont know if this still applies but is that true
DEX>STR especially in early levels it will increase damage more then STR. It would make sense that if you have a lot of STR you would hit harder but if you miss a lot then it dont matter much. With high accuracy you hit more often and the overall DPS will be higher.. right?
To make this easier, if you have a total of 100 points, how would you allocate them?
