You should check out the version of Dancer I made a while back. It has a similar system to your trance motif, though a bit more streamlined And my Dancer is a healer and a debuffer, with a few attacks. I've noticed this in a few peoples ideas for new jobs and classes, but abilities need to be structured within the system we currently know, and abilities cannot be bogged down with so many details. I'll show you what I mean when I update this post.
Additionally, you should check out my Dancer idea, to show you what I meant by the streamline of my "trance" skills. http://tinyurl.com/ff14arrjobs
UPDATE 1: Okay, after reading up on your abilities and trying to figure out your trance system, I think you need to organize the abilities just a bit more. Too many abilities rely on your concept of trance, which isn't bad but should be edited a bit. It helps to look at the systems that are already in place (defiance, aetherflow, mudras, astral/umbral, etc) and manipulate them to your idea. I know you said your trance idea was similar to greased lightning, but the concept isnt executed as such. Also, the TP costs are way too high. At the moment you have to consider that TP will never go higher than 1000, and Healers need to be able to heal quickly and effectively. Additionally, what about traits, you have none listed. I will go over your ideas and express my views on each move, as I have done with others who have made concepts like these. And as always I would hope you would do the same for my ideas as well.

Dnc in XI healed with tp, could make their own tp, could use it for sabres for haste or healing, could heal buff and support the party, while being a godly solo class. If the bring Dnc to XIV and do it right it would be amazing. It's also the class my friend has been waiting for lol. As he(to this day) mains blu and Dnc in XI, and is still waiting for 1 or both of them to Come to XIV.
Edit for spelling, no edit on mobile forums. I think a dancer would do great as a saboteur, debuffing enemies.
That could be cool. Anne depending on the 2rd hit of the rotations, depending on the 2rd move could do a debuff or something.
Like
Lowers enemy's blunt resistance/magic resistance/slash resistance
Or a 2nd hit skill that increases the time of current dots/debuffs by 3 or 5 seconds? (not too long, but long enough to give it another tick or 2.
Could also have a 2nd hit that adds drain sambas (makes all hits give a percent of damage to hp for those who don't know.) Or hast sambas(could give faster skill speed since auto attack isn't the same as xi) and maybe another that increases spell speed for makes when a spell hits
Of course keep it like 11 where sambas don't stack, so you can take drain and haste sambas up.

This has my signature!
Would so love for this game to have dnc in it. In ffxi it was my favorite job and like someone else said I to used it as a tank. I never even used macros with it made other people jelousy as well with how good I played it. Anyways back on topic if this game were to have dnc in it I hope it would be a tank as well.

I just hope its close to XI version of dnc.
