Speed up queues! Let us register as multiple roles

For those of us that don't really care which role we do our daily/weekly completions on, please let us register as multiple roles and have it choose whichever role is needed more!

It seems like this would expedite the process for everyone involved, including the people who are waiting to do them as DPS.

This is something they mentioned a while back that they would like to implement at some point. I think they're still figuring out the logistics of it. Maybe some time when Heavensward arrives?

It has a precedent in at least one other game (The Secret World), so I'd like to see it here someday. Perhaps when you queue you could select which jobs you were interested in/capable of and then once a party was matched, it instanced you and automatically changed your job. Or, since it wouldn't know what gear set you wanted to use, the commencement window could pop showing you what job you were selected for. You could then change gear and commence.

WoW had it implemented as well. If you were playing a class that could cover multiple roles with a simple Spec change, it would let you queue for any of the roles you have unlocked.

It could work exactly the same way it does now - it lets you play as a different class while you're waiting in queue as a different one right? And it restricts you from entering until you're on the correct role.

So all it has to do is let you queue as multiple, and what ever spot your character end up filling, you wouldn't be able to enter the instance until you switch to the proper job.

I'm not sure...because say if you queue'd for tank/dps. Since DPS queue's are usually in the high wouldn't it pick tank near instantly anyways? DPS queue's will still be high then...In terms of alleviating DPS times, I don't really understand how this will help. I think we all know Tanks are almost always needed most. I wouldn't mind this anyways though.

The only problem I see is that it calculates your ilvl of the job you are on at the time of queue. If I queued as both a tank and dps for T9, but it wouldn't know my tank was only ilvl 95 if I queued on my ilvl 120 dps class.

The problem is, most games that have this feature are also games where you only have access to a single class (TSW being an exception, but it's a skill point based game) that has different specs.
In this game, one player can be ALL OF THE ROLES, but have to switch jobs. Combine that with iLevel being rather important and Gear Sets being clientside, and they have a lot of kinks to work out before they get it right.

I would like this very much.
Unfortunately it's too much to ask for to queue up on multiple jobs for multiple instances.

For some (dumb) reason we're not even allowed to queue for more than 5 at once. Yet there are times like the Zodiac quest that require more than 5 dungeons simultaneously.

The current queue system is pretty antiquated and could really use an overhaul. I feel like we haven't had much updates since 1.0. What got added since then besides new dungeons? PVP Matchmaking, and Roulettes, and Duty In Progress. I think that's about it.

    Rift did the same also.

DPS will have shorter queue because if two tanks that have also healer, they can set both roles and make party immediately with the top queued dps, while tank only and tank only, will need wait healers before pop from the dps queue.
