DF queue behaving strangely

For the past two days the queue has been behaving strangely. The average wait time will wildly fluctuate while I remain queued indefinitely. The party population will fluctuate between just me and having 3/4 members then drops back to just me. I'm on the Primal Data Center, Hyperion server.

We had a whole party of 8 for ST and never got in after almost two hours of waiting, we gave up.

I've always assumed the estimate is just plain out of whack because of lots of preformed parties that are inst-queuing mixing in with the smaller groups and solo players that are waiting the extended time for commitment... but DAYUMN that is a long-a$$ed wait right there. We seriously need something that may actually provide decent incentives for people to queue those instances...what that may be is anybody's guess though.

Just out of curiosity.. what were you guys trying to get into?

I was trying to get into an expert roulette. I'm experiencing the issue again for the Main Scenario roulette. I also had the problem when trying to queue for expert roulette as BLM.

I don't think there's a bug.

I'm in Primal too, but I DF queue only as healer, solo. The only queues that "never ended" were Coil turn 3. The rest of the Roulette's and Raids all pop within minutes. (Again, Healer.) The current longest waits are for T5, which people abandon within 10 minutes if they wipe at all.

When watching the queues when they last longer than 5 minutes, Particularly for Labyrinth, T5 and Garuda/ThornMarch Extreme, the Tank slot always jumps between 0,1,2, while the DPS slot jumps between full, or 1 short. If someone withdraws from the long queues, then it will go back to 0 on all, then after a minute you'll see the queue refill like it was before still waiting on 1 tank, 1 healer or 1 dps.

I'm thinking the estimate is based off instances actually completing. eg, that's not an estimate for how long YOU are waiting, but how long EVERYONE is waiting.

I bet I can go to bed and let it sit overnight in queue and come back and post a screenshot of me still queued.
