I have nothing against robes. I like some of them, actually. What I WOULD like to see more of is unisex pants. Granted, it's not as bad as it was in XI where pants on a guy would be hot pants on a girl, but alot of the caster sets have panties, culottes (may as well be panties) and skirts (the demon set skirts aren't terrible, but still short). All I want is a pair of pants!
This is one reason I do like tank gear. We don't usually get miniskirts or panties instead of breeches.I have nothing against robes. I like some of them, actually. Yeah, especially if you consider some of the Padjals (CNJ/WHM from a lore POV) to wear something these:
Ironically, we cant even glamour hooded robes if we wanted to due to gear restrictions.

NO! WE NEED MOAR PALETTE SWAPS! Why put effort into making new gear when you can dye an old piece and call it new
Great game if you're into multiple melee classes. Pretty damn bad if you're a mage wearing the same damn crap every single job.
You're bad at designing gear and jobs, SE. Now go ahead and ban me cause I don't even care. I barely sign in once a day for mini cactpot anyway.
Step it up and stop the cash shop nonsense. I don't want to melee. I never have played a melee class in other mmos. Call me crazy, I don't care.
We need more mage effort SE.

This sounds a lot like the post that got me banned, fellow mage!
More risque stuff for casters (that isn't exclusively sexy on females) please! T_T
Level-appropriate gear is one thing. What's really bad though is that there's not nearly enough glamour options either - everyone's bored of low level pieces by the time they reach 50; seasonal pieces are just that: seasonal (many of them even combines badly with others); and most of the few genuine glamour pieces is so incredibly gated behind insane criteria that they're nigh unobtainable, thus making them overpriced too - shouldn't be charged a buttload of gil for common clothes, really. (I understand they had to find a way to keep crafters and gatherers relevant...but this was a bad choice.) I do believe at least some of the sense of same-ness could be alleviated with more varied and more easily accessible glamour outfits.
And to add, I'd really like some skirts without the leg warmers/ thigh high stockings. Glamouring skirts with ie: the Lady's clogs and Slippers looks silly. Plz SE? <3
I approve with many people in this thread and I even wrote my own threads in the past concerning the armor looks of this game and the illogical restrictions of glamours and dyes! What gives? The game already has a very limited amount of armors to choose from and the devs are making things worst by preventing the players from customizing a bit more their set and equipment.
If YoshiP's team don't have the time to make more armor sets for the needs of its growing player base, at least remove the silly restrictions!
