I would like the option not to wear shoes and go barefoot. I would also like some stilletto style shoes I like shoes

I think they already said no to barefoot but would be nice for vanity but guess Lady's clogs are the closest we going to get to barefoot.

sadly they have already stated, somewhere, that barefootedness won't happen. i'm not sure why they seem unwilling to allow it.

The "naked" sandals characters wear are meant to account for the heel on most in-game footwear, to avoid having to noticeably shorten or lengthen our characters' legs to keep our height the same. Ultimately, it's just to preserve the illusion of consistency (since some boots do noticeably shorten your calves), but they would need to completely redo our legs to let us go actually barefoot.

I would be fine with the illusion that I'm floating off the ground for barefoot option.

We've passed along your feedback and request, and the dev. team let us know that there currently aren't any plans to allow adventurers to go completely barefoot (could you imagine stepping on a cactuar needle?).

I think that the barefeet option will never happen for the reasons already stated above but yea please SE give us more well-designed shoes. Most of the caster shoes (esp. Vanya and Cashmeere) were horrible. I enjoyed the Kirimu tho.

Tbh I have found maybe 2-3 sets of shoes / boots in this game I actually like the look of. I've actually hit the point where I design my glamours around the couple pairs I like since almost everything else is horrible in one way or another.
