The more I play, the more I think that healing is, when it really matters (T13), NOT about secondary stats, it is about skill and MP management.
Prioritize what you want. Of course, a crit Adlo before a Flatten is huge. Of course, DET is really nice to have, when you heal for 1500 and not 1450, but 'healing checks' are not met with bigger numbers, but with more preparation.
Did you use Fey Covenant before that Gigaflare ? If yes, thats roughly 700dmg per player that will be mitigated, which is almost 70% of a regular Adlo for everyone...
Did you Virus that Akh Morn ? etc etc...

I'm all about mitigation, 1st phase I use selene but the rest of the fight I use EOS
Virus 1st flatten at right time to mitigate flatten and all three flare breathe
I use eye after 1st earth shaker hoping that it will proc for megaflare, flatten and breathe
I use succor before evey megaflare throughout the whole encounter(Accept for 1st one beause stoneskin is till on everyne) and Sacred soil (Not on first on) on stack party before it hits. I get the MT in it as well for reduce damage for next flatten and flare breathe. Switch eos.

During giga I succor 1st, put a virus and sacred soill. I use whispering dawn so WHM does't take hate by accident.

for 1st rage of bahumt I use fey covenant, succor and sacred soils, follwed with whispering dawn
2nd rage of bahumut i use Fey illumination, succor and sacred soil.

we skip 3rd one.

Gigaflare my virus is is up and I use that with succor and sacred soil

Add phase dont care much the WHM usually solo heals that unless he ask me to help so no rotation. I only succor and put a Sacred soil up when sins come out just in case the dps derps and forgets to attack one.

last phase is Virus 1st Ahk morn and 3rd one. Use sacred soil for each megaflare and gigaflare with succor. On 1st giga I use fey covenant and Fey illumination and sacred soil for bigger shield and magic defense.

Morale of my story I go balls to the wall when it comes to mitigation. I hardly ever ignore mechanics so I dont get rusty
