Why didn't you vote kick him? Was this before that was added? Cuz "not listening and getting the group killed" is an acknowledged and accepted use of the system by GMs.

Just happened last night. Queued up for Trial Roulette and I always have in progress selected. In progress came up and I could only think of 1 trial that would need a DPS for that. Sure enough, Titan HM came up with myself and 2 other DPS in the group. That was it. Everyone else was gone. We were all thinking the same thing. We hung around though and eventually the group managed to get up to 5. Said I could leave and come back on my tank just to get things going, so I did. I couldn't go in as trial roulette so I just queued up normally on my tank for titan HM to help those guys out. i went right in and managed to get into the group I was with originally. We decided to 6 man it and I pulled. A ninja came in part way through and died promptly lol. I said, don't worry about it, we'll carry you!

We finished up, I got the scholar book and we all left. I managed to get 3 commendations for that fight. Went into trial roulette as normal after that. Even managed to get good king moogle card in the process

Had a hullbreaker isle recently I was on BLM, we had a MNK, PLD, and a WHM.

The PLD was very low ilevel compared to the rest of us, I would guess it as maybe i90-i95, he only had Atma weapon. This was fine though the problem was he was in sword oath and didn't seem to know what flash was.

He pulled the first 3 monsters and we got through it but he couldn't hold hate at all, my BLM is like i122 so I basically couldn't attack anything without pulling hate and the WHM kept pulling hate too. I was about to type something but he pulled another TWO packs of monsters...safe to say healer died and then the rest of us cause he wasn't holding hate at all, no flash, and still in sword oath.

So I asked nicely, I said to him that he has to use shield oath and use flash more because he is not holding any hate and it is killing the WHM and myself and we aren't going to be able to complete the dungeon like this (along with the healer and mnk saying similar things). He just completely ignores us and continues to pull monsters...we tried again but healer died from pulling hate on everything with just regen I think. So again we asked him to use shield oath, but he keeps just running off and ignoring us, so we had to vote kick him out.

I dont know if he was a bot or what, it was really weird.

My Most Amusing Dungeon Story is when I do expert roulette and get people that are not a bunch of elitist/idiots/both. It happened a couple times in a month so I have hope for the future of humanity.

My most amusing dungeon encounter...
A mixup in Tam-Tara Deepcroft NM that left both DPSes stuck outside the final boss fight. The tank and I had to duo the whole fight while the others watched from the lockout fence and cheered us on with emotes. It's fortunate that as a SCH in content that low, I could just stay in Cleric Stance for the battle.

My most amusing trial experience was against Shiva. I was running her with a friend, who plays NIN, and everyone except her died at the last few moments of the fight. Cue the rest of us watching on as she clutches the battle and saves the day. It was likely the only time in history that a ninja received 5 commendations.

I once did Hullbreaker Island as a BLM with my friends. One a was a NIN, the other a WAR and the last one...was also a WAR. Yeah...

went in as white mage to toto rak, arcanist wouldn't dps and healed only. I ended up in cleric stance the whole run :/

HAH! This happened to me... I was on WHM. The Arcanist refused to DPS while I was in cleric stance, taking over the heals. (It was Haukke Manor baby mode). She managed to kick me twice - once by the hand of the DCing tank and once by the arcanist . I kept joining back in progress - YAY HEALER VIP ACCESS! ^^ When I came back for the third time - they kicked the arcanist - TAnk appologized said all he saw was that both our names started with B - The bard was stunned I was kicked at all and said they love healers who can CS dance. Finished the rest of the instance without any issues. I tanked the last boss - DCing tank had a final disconnect.

In haukke normal, I was leveling an alt. I was CNJ, tank was 30 WAR, one DPS was a PUG and the other was BRD.

Basically, we wiped at least three times on the first boss. After the first 2, the bard was getting snappy, but the monk and I were trying to give the warrior some advice. It would look like he was standing there and reading it, when after we had gone silent, he pulled.

Again we wiped.

Finally we beat her the third time. Then we wiped twice on the trash. Got to second boss. Wiped a total of four times. Then on the way to the final boss, I'm pretty sure we wiped at least 5 more times.

By this time, the time remaining was pretty low. Well, was about 15 mins. Before the warrior pulls, the monk and I give the same tips we gave before. Then warrior rushes in. And another wipe.

Then I explained to the warrior that they are the tank. They have those abilities. They said nothing and rushed in. We wiped again. Now I was pretty irritated and had no idea why I had remained with the group for so long. The bard then told the warrior in a way that involved a lot of insults, that the warrior was the tank.

The warrior said no, that warriors are always dps. Then the bard left, and we had 3 minutes remaining.
