Can only imagine what Au Ra with helmets/hood will look like

Yoshi-P already stated in an interview that all hoods, helms, ect that normally cover other races ears giving them "ear socks" will have holes in them for horns for Au Ra. I wish they'd take the time to also correct the Elezen and Lalafell plight that is when we equip helms and hoods with a set ear sock size when our ears are not that long to begin with.

See, this right here is why I don't wear cowls or helmets.
They should just hide the ears when characters wear helms that covers the entire head. It's looks kind of stupid to have "extensions" for ears.
We can tell their race by their tail and/or body shape.

WoW did this with Blood Elves and it made me cringe every time I put on a helm that hid ears. Just as in this game.. hiding the ears when you equip a helm wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing. It makes me cringe though because "Ouch!!" If I had long ears and someone tried to force a helm on my head with no ear holes; I'd be in a hell of a lot of pain. Cartilage may not be bone, but it still has soft tissue and nerves in it.
Rabbits, cats and dogs "flatten" their eats just fine to my knowledge.WoW did this with Blood Elves and it made me cringe every time I put on a helm that hid ears. Yet how many emotes do you see where Elezen or Lalafell wiggle or "flatten" their ears? Also.. comparing human's and human like beings to animals is a lose/lose situation. Animals are able to pivot their ears to detect certain sounds and frequencies. Humans cannot. Miqo'te are an exception because of the way their ears are set up like a dogs, cats, or rabbits.
