They made it Mp based. If you pull to fast or too many, your gonna run out and everyone will die..

Drk was a glass Cannon in XI that was always the first guy dead. Drg has taken his place. So to make up for it, he's now the glass Cannon that will get EVERYONE killed. =D

You dont know how much mp it will have and if all the thread skills will be mp base... If is like pld that can just flash until mp run out and keep all the hate then will be no problem to speed run with drk.

As a tank who hates big pulls I'm looking forward to this.

Also as a veteran Dark Knight, I'll be sure to find the frequent dirt naps nostalgic.

Not quite as nostalgic as if I missed every other attack, but I think I'll be able to handle it.

I doubt they gimp DRK to make them deemed inferior to other tanks.

Sounded to me like itll be using both. TP for physical attacks and MP for magic. How do you know it wont have some way of regenerating MP? Some AoE, high enmity, life leeching ability that regenerates MP sounds like itd fit the class perfectly.

Never said it would be inferior. Just would have to have proper mana control. Pull too much and you dug your own grave(and your partys) pull normally and could have the potential to be the highest damaging tank in the game.

The way I see it, when it comes to tanking they will be the equal of PLDs and WARs. Maybe in DPS stance, they will do more damage than other tanks at the expense of being more fragile due to their DPS skills draining HP.

That what I would like to think will happen anyway.

MP based sure, but making them time-locked is unlikely since it would just make them strictly inferior to other tanks in dungeons. More likely is that they'll have skills that replenish their MP, perhaps at the cost of some of this Darkness resource they're using to do things.

Think of it like a WAR being able to exchange some of their stacks for TP and I think you'd be getting closer.

I think it will be heavely mp base for a tank too but not to the point that will make it useless if dont have mp.
