I'm a fairly new player, looking for a friendly and active FC. I've been playing MMO's forever, but I've only been playing this one for roughly two or so months off and on - so I don't have a whole lot of experience. I do have a few questions though:

1) Due to work, there are occasionally periods of about a week or so at a time that I'll be away from any internet connection. Apart from those times, I'm quite active. Would that be a problem at all?
2) How RP focused is this FC? I don't have anything against RP'ing personally - but it's just not something I'm interested in.
3) This ones a bit hard to describe, but how 'talkative' is the chat? I originally joined Balmung to play with friends, but they've since unsubbed. I'm mostly interested in a FC for social reasons - having someone to talk to is always nice.

I'm more than happy to answer your questions.

1) This is not a problem. We actually have several members with very intensive jobs that lead to them disappearing for a while and then coming back.

2) RP is not a main focus of the FC, but we do have members that RP and we do hold RP events. However, all RP events are optional and all of the RP members respect the members who do not RP. You'll see some of our members RPing around the house and yard from time to time but you don't have to join in and you are free to carry your own casual conversations. There is no RP that happens within the FC channel, that is strictly casual and social chat.

3) FC chat is generally VERY active. There are times late at night or early in the morning were it does get quiet, but conversations can and do start even in what would be considered 'dead' hours. We've actually had so much FC chatter happen at once that we put a post on our forums about being Lost in Translation due to how active it can get.

Hi, I am not quite a new player, seeing as I have played the content since 2.0 launched, but I have gaps in my knowledge of the game due to the fact I quit the game multiple times. The cause for this was mainly my inability to find a stable FC, Static to raid with, or my own hesitation. Currently I am a ilvl 117 paladin working on my novus. From what I read in your op I believe that this may be a good spot for me to start raiding in heavensward. My availability is between 6 pm - 12 am EST on any day except Wednesday & Saturday. As for coils I am currently stuck on T9. Please feel free to message me in game.

Hello, if your still looking for new members I am interested in talking to you guys. Similar to many I have been playing since the launch of 2.0 but have stopped playing multiple times due to not having a stable group to do high level content. I have just returned about 2 weeks ago and currently have an iLvl 90 PLD, NIN, and BLM but I do plan to switch my tank to a DRK. My availability will vary as I do play other games besides FF XIV but when I am on it will normally be between Sunday-Friday at 7 pm MST.
