Seems I was wrong. Indeed, with those extra materials its well worth starting off each of the beasttribes quests.

True, I guess the CP cost and the steady hand requirement always pushed me away from it. And maybe I've lost sight on how tough it was to push through those levels without the tools/gear.

It's strength is still only strength on paper, so I wouldnt say that was the case. You need level 50 to get it, but by the time you get the required class to 50 your other classes will likely be beyond the point where the ability is of use.

If for some reason you have classes below lets say, level 20 or 25; then it's a really amazing ability.
I don't recall exactly how much progress you would normally get in the 20ish area tho.
