Losing the RMT spam war SE?

There are quite a few reasonable people, insofar as what they expect SE to do, in the anti-RMT side of this debate. I like to believe I'm one of them. Those who are reasonable don't expect SE to be able to fix people, I sure don't. What we're requesting is more options for us to reduce the spam we get, such as account-wide blacklists. I think this is more than fair.
