Wow, FRAPS is considered a third party tool? It doesn't really give anybody an unfair advantage. People record videos of themselves and upload to youtube all the time in both XI and XIV. On a side note this video is just pure awesome-sauce. I think the highlander's expression at 0:53 is the best part about it

People have been banned before for posting videoes of rmt, that was a kinda funny case, the guy said he didnt bot or anything, they checked up both him and the one who told it. Turns out he had botted to, (or something like that), it was many "i lost my account" etc posts earlier. SE has a nice policy (after being sued a couple of times) that they won't ban if not 100% sure. Also, player pictures "can be edited" it is no real proof. It is better to send in the form they got, and just continue on your path, than posting pictures. One guy used fraps to film a botter. He got banned for using fraps (third-party program) all this was in the start of the game though. Check old posts at zam

Im dual boxing, and you know what... im not breakin any laws.
Im freakin using my own god damn guest pass code on my other PC to play my 2nd character.

Why, cuz im using my 2nd character as a teleport-wh...um..companion.
And ya i play both on my own, 2 controllers, 2 PC's....
lol not my problem if some ppl cant have what i can.

I see no proof in any of the pictures above of any suspisious RMT activities.

Some ppl really should know the diffrence between dual-boxing, rmt and Bots.

It's RMT because the Conjurer is basically a shepard to like a dozen little Lalafell, still in weathered starting gear, all R32 CON, and it's especially apparent when you see them all doing levequests "together."

Rather brilliant honestly, even if you only get about 5k gil for that particular quest, it's 5k going 8 ways, with minimal effort. Now multiply that 40,000 by the amount of leves you could potentially do x8 every 36 hours, and it's a fairly staggering amount for how easy it is.

Edit: Checked the profiles on Lodestone, it's been a little while since I was Physical Level 17, but I'm pretty sure they aren't even bothering to allocate any stat points.

I still dont see the "Real Money Trading" in this.

There sholdnt be any diffrence in me dual-boxing either even thou i dont even care for "RMT",
why would i even pay for ingame currency when it's not even hard to come by, espcially if dual-boxing for personal gain.

But ya "Some" try the real "RMT" thing and make a profit, stupid imo.
Those that do should get a real job, ya i real-life hard working job.

However not all dual-boxer's, including myself should be related to "RMT" just because we dual-box.
If that were the case they need to enforce 1 charcter / account. (and that wouldnt even be enough)

And...idk about many of you, but i havent seen a single RMT spam in chat log
since the release of the game, atleast not on my server.

SE did a good job letting the players get a decent amount of gil for their achievements in the game.
Decreasing the earned gil would most likely increase RMT activities , so ya it's a tough one.

And finally, no...im not trying to defend any "RMT" activities at all even though it might sound if i am.

Again guys you do know that RMTS also deal in accounts right ??? he has 7-10+ accounts in which hes goign to make money by selling those account. Do you guys seriusly dont see a problem in this ? Making money out of selling accounts its a bannable offense.

It's definitely RMT, but at this point I don't see anything happening. The server population is already tenuous at best, if they started banning people for unsavory actions like botting, I daresay we'd lose 20% more people, bringing our grand total to like five users.

Quality over quantity. I'd be quite happy to see whole linkshells banned for botting that has occurred in the past. Botters tend to stick together.
