To live Each day is a Hell of a Miracle
Dual boxing means playing 2 characters on the same COMPUTER. No rules about being more on one ip.Im dual boxing, and you know what... im not breakin any laws.
Im freakin using my own god damn guest pass code on my other PC to play my 2nd character.
Why, cuz im using my 2nd character as a teleport-wh...um..companion.
And ya i play both on my own, 2 controllers, 2 PC's....
lol not my problem if some ppl cant have what i can.
I see no proof in any of the pictures above of any suspisious RMT activities.
Some ppl really should know the diffrence between dual-boxing, rmt and Bots.
This as been said MANY times and "OK , We get it" but there is a RULE about selling accounts and try to get "real money" Hence Real Money Trade "RMT" activities. please help report this player at the Special Task Force of SE at "http://support.eu.square-enix.com"
I Imagine somoene might post something like there is "evidence" about the RMT acitivies in there.. but i would like to ask you hasnt this been discuss enought and proven than "95%" of the times this activities to be RMT , by discuss i mean in FFXI and several other places like ZAM forums and some in YG.

i usualy dont post in mmo boards, its always drama of any kind, but i have to reply here, this posting made me smile
dont you think you push it to far?sounds more like a personal vendetta against players then against RMT.
if you want to get rid of RMT,check the RMT pages for holes, and get a lawyer to sue them. (such as ,if its EU based,it must have a subpage with the owner, address, taxnr etc,if not,you can sue it,its a law under the EU-Rights,based on all nations who take part in the EU),such methods are very usual in Lux/Ger/austria
but in your posting, you prove simply nothing, you have screenshots of players who do tasks,"it may be" one person with several PCs,"it may be" one pc with a sandbox style setup, "it may be"..just good timing from differend players
too many assumptions to get even a GM to look into the playerdata.
but i can tell you, what it proves. it proves that this players are NOT selling currency, they do NOT cry/shout for selling anything, they do NOT do a trade with ingame currency for realcash, they do NOT advice any webpage.
simple said.you lost the sense for realism quite fast, and assume things into players, its kinda risky,if i would see screenshots from me n my hubby,i would report you,for stalking, thats playerabuse, and SE handles such cases quite fast.
because this is a far bigger insult, based on assumptions then any other of your points.
small advice, read the ToS,and read the Forum Rules, about posting names, pointing out players etc.
seen such matters in FFXI,and other games, and if people keep going that direction like you do,i report them myself, quite fast, with the right parts of the ToS/forum rules, for rulebreaking in form of blackmailing/insulting/stalking/playerabuse.
regards Lunaru
ps.: yes,i had to register for the board, especialy for this posting, because its far of the grid.
pps.: not my server, but still factbased. stay on the facts, not on assumptions, else you may end up looking for WMDs inside other players pockets, based on your "informations and assumptions"![]()

And about the part that says "Sue" them Hahaha , well let me tell you about the biggest provider of RMT there is and that feed of WOW which is "I*e" since i don't wanna mention it to not get into trouble with the mods which even in the webpage they mention they been around for 8 years do you think that if Blizzard with all their money and 11-12m players and they canT take out that site. do you think SE will ?
Regretfully the "sue them" part dont think it will work very well but nice "we can try, lol"
Ohh and about the posting only screenshots well thats all we can do.. since apperently FRAPS or "any" video making tool is Banned or will get you Banned because its a "Third party program" sigh.
Still im only asking players to Report this kinda activites to the SE Special Task Force to try and Prevent this kind of action /behaviors http://support.eu.square-enix.com

Hello Fellow Wutai Players im making this list to raise awareness on RMT activites ,and if you have any source of confirmation please post it in here. i know there is a place where to post this and send it to SquareEnix "Special Task Force" but in the past they havent that we notice , it would be cool/correct if they posted a list of all the Banned accounts

Whoa! Someone been filming my cooking huh?!Wow, FRAPS is considered a third party tool? It doesn't really give anybody an unfair advantage. People record videos of themselves and upload to youtube all the time in both XI and XIV. On a side note this video is just pure awesome-sauce. I think the highlander's expression at 0:53 is the best part about it
No, wait. I do not recognise these ladies... alright then.
Obviously I can not say for certain, but I can say I doubt a lot about anyone getting punished for using FRAPS, or anything similar as they merely record video and/or snap-shots of it. Sure, it is a 3rd party tool, aye, but it does not provide an unfair advantage to anyone, nor does it alter the game-client in any way.
As for the topic itself, I think you are doing a good thing as in bringing your concerns of this out here as many do not realise it at all. I'm not saying anyone you reported is definitely doing something wrong, but I have witnessed similar going-ons myself.
That said, pointing out specific characters and accusing them of anything, be it spot-on or not, is not really something for us players to do, at the forum. It might very well be counter-productive actually towards your own ability of enjoying the service... Instead, just as you mentioned yourself, the right way to report such characters and activities is via the Support Centre. ^^
Even though Rule-Enforcement is likely nowhere intended as a player-activity, it might be OK'ish in a game where you can actually do something to hinder the botters a little (PvP environments), though not as to enforce the rules, but well, if you can attack them at your hunting-spot, then why not! But here it is really quite pointless as there is basically nothing we can do, as regular players. After ridding the 'reporting to the community' part from the topic, there doesn't seem to be much left to discuss.
A word on 'dual-boxing'.
Assuming the policy is the same as it is for FFXI, it is fine to play on as many accounts at the same time as one is paying for, as long as the game-client is not modified in any way (such as altering the client so that more than one instances can be started where they normally couldn't and/or software to control the character(s) for you, also known as botting). Imagine 2 or more computers and/or consoles.
Obviously account-trading/sharing is prohibited as well so using many accounts that are not one's property is not allowed either.
But I've already gone on for too long so I'll stop while I still can. ^^;
Try to enjoy the game more, and worry less about things that are the service provider's concerns is what I (and many others surely would) say. :]
Just some thoughts~
Blubb.
Testing something...
More naming options:http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/7006-Make-surnames-optional.
I know how you feel. It disturbs my mind to a great deal whenever I see a train of 7 people following on a single THM who does all the job in killing mobs or doing LQ, or a group of all Lalafell, all THM, naked and with level 1 weapon standing at the Aetheryte doing nothing but linking Levequest then waiting for the "leader" to finish quest and net them LQ reward EXP.
So I keep sending screenshots as well as detailed information to the Special Task Force through SE support page, whenever I see "suspicious" group of characters. I also note in my report that I have no proof that they're RMTs, but I feel they're highly suspicious and I urge the STF team to investigate or watch their activities. Hope they will do something to those character some day.
And I don't know if it's just that I don't bump into them anymore, or that they have stopped the activities, or that the investigation had resulted in banning them, those characters are gone by now.
IIRC the STF did some mass bannings in FFXI, maybe it's just more cost efficient compile a massive list and ban them all at once?
