Sooo in order to obtain this barding they'll make a new item you need to gather with FSH/BOT/MIN where you need max melded gear with the latest tools along with you need to get 99 HQ of the said item. Then you need to trade those items in for a synth item and the other 2 items needed for it will be from desynthing FCoB gear. The synth will be a 5 star synth that only a small handful of people can do because it will require them to have max melds + latest tools + every FC buff + food in order to attempt it. Sounds about right when you think about it xD

As someone who has maxed out every crafter's class... I kinda want barding for all of them now.

Just imagine:

- Blacksmith/armorer barding: A welding helmet and BSM apron for the body.
- Carpenter - Chocobo-tail saw, come on!
- Weaver - That hat for sure!
- Alchemist - I loved the scientist jacket before it got replaced by the artisan's apron...

If they do it right they could always do:

HQ Hard to get item XYZ Ore, ABC Log, MNO Fish used to upgrade your DoL tool
NQ Hard to get item XYZ Ore, ABC Log, MNO Fish used to obtain your DoL Barding

That way both are being used towards something, sure it will take time but it won't add a stupid amount of time sink, and it will give us something to use the NQ items we gather on.
