What is the main scenario length from 2.0 to 2.55 each?

It's come to my attention that even if I buy heavensward, I won't access it until I get through 2.0 through 2.55. I'm still on 2.0. Does anyone have an idea of how long each patch scenario is? This includes cutscenes. I also assume that 2.0 has the longest storyline out of the 2.0 series of patches. Am I correct?

If your gear is of reasonable standard you should be able to get through the post Praetorium storyline up to the current 2.51 story in a couple of days (and that's playing somewhat causally). The part that usually caught players out early on was in the 2.1 'A Realm Awoken' story where the player is forced to undertake the first five or so Guildhests as part of the main scenario (Guildhests previously being content most players ignored), and, after that, the player is then sent to undertake the previously optional dungeon Sunken Temple of Qarn (a level 30ish dungeon).

Other than that, it's pretty straightforward, consisting mostly of cutscenes and the occasional solo fight, with at least a new Primal fight towards the end of each patch story, plus a couple of new dungeons as well (Snowcloak and Keeper of the Lake).

They're pretty short if you speed through them. Maybe 1-2 hours each. The main locks are the gear locks on the primal fights; 2.1's is i55 all the way up to 2.5's which is... i90 requisite? If you can do that though you shouldn't have much issue.

Ehh...If it gives you any measure, 2.55 will be the longest (except 2.0 but that's obvious) supposedly if you did it back to back. Apparently 3 hours worth of stuff if you barrel through it all. They'll all be less than that.
2.0 is from level 1 to slightly past 50 so of course it's the longest, but the 2.x patches are all much shorter chunks of story. Once you get 2.0 done it's pretty smooth sailing, I'm sure - I've done each one as it came out so I don't know about doing it all at once.

Leveling to 50? Yeah, you want to do side stuff. The story quests alone won't carry you the whole way. You still have around 3 months till Heavensward so you still have time.

if you do fates while doing main scenario quests you will hit 50 in no time just unlock challenge log aswell really helpful in terms of leveling

On patch days I usually burn through the story in about 4 -5 hours and I watch and read everything (I like the story ), but that includes getting side-tracked by dungeons and other quests and FC friends asking for help and such. Your biggest problem will probably be the 2 Guildhests and the 1 dungeon for 2.1's story and 2.4's story does have a bit of running around in Coerthas.

This game lvling is fast... Trust me, I'm skipping most of that, doing main quest and do the dailies dungeons that's all I do.
I will complete all other side quest later because I want know deeper about the lore with other class.

I mainly use my leve allowance to my crafting and gathering class, so I unlock my leve quest at all available area, it will be easier for me to lvl my crafting and gathering class later on.
