Roegadyn need to have their tail re-instated!

We seriously need our tail back, I've played a Galka in Final Fantasy XI and grown attached to it! It would of been a travesty to remove Mithra, or Miqote's tails.. but still we do it to the less popular race... T.T with no regards to the feeling of previous tail owners. It should at least be optional, i really miss my tail, to make it worse... the new Au`ra race will have a tail!?!?! Please give us back our tails... T.T

Except roegadyn are not like galka at all - sure the spoken races of Hydaelyn are loosely based on the races of Altana from FFXI, they're not the same. Thus, roegadyn are not galka. They do not reincarnate like the galka do, and have females of their race. They also have five fingers on each hand unlike the galka's four, and of course, no tail.

Really, the roegadyn have been this way since 1.0's release, so it's pretty conclusive SE will never redesign them to have tails (I mean, why would they even need them?).

I'm sorry but "loosely based" ? They are more than loosely based, pretty much the exact same races. I know that they have been like this since 1.0, i was in beta for 1.0. Still, every other race got recreated pretty much exactly to their Vanadiel counterpart. Thus people with a 'love' for their old character were able to re-create it pretty close to par... all but Roe's... the less liked race of all.. What if they removed the miqote's tails.. or the Elezen's long ears.. or the lalafell's brown nose?
I know they're not the same race... but in all honesty.. they are!
I also know they will never redesign tails on Galka's.. or Roegadyn if you prefer.. but i feel i still have to speak my mind and cry a bit about my lost "piece".
(i know some ex-Galka who went with another race due to the lack of tail.. which is a shame, not enough Roe's in this world. T.T'

You are not a Galka, you are a Roe -- sorry tails don't come with this model.

Galkas were much more beast-like in FFXI which I personally liked. They're just larger versions of humans in this game, pretty boring unfortunately.
