EA means early access to the full game. The only thing you will miss out on is CE items, otherwise, you can grab a fantasia from the Mog Shop, change into an Au Ra and start grinding the new story or leveling your machinist.

i remember with early access to 2.0 we didn't have Male miqote or fem roe's D: i didn't see them until launch day D:, then again i made my character in beta 3 so i may not of seen the options :c

They were available since beta. The free char change for old chars was only for early access though.

It was only during first login after beta ended.
But yes, male Miqo'te an female Roegadyn and female Highlander were aleady in early access there.
