As cool as it would be, I don't think its so simple as just, "Hey, lets add some sliders ;D" and might not be possible to have such an in depth character creator with this engine they are using. There's a reason every game doesn't have a character creator like EVE regardless of the games genre.
Some new hairstyles on the other hand would be cool, but I love mine so *shrugs*

I hate how some races have 8 hairstyles and some have 4. Before I went back to playing a miqo'te, I was pretty peeved that my lalafell only had 4 choices for hair.

I'm okay with sliders for weight and whatnot... but SE will NEVER do this. All of their character models are kind of set in stone and they prefer everyone to have beautiful characters vs stuff like Aion. lol

Personally, I'd love for my character to have a little more weight. She looks all gimpy. ><

I really like the idea of SE implementing hair style changes in game with a small fee of real currency just to keep people from having new hair every week. And I agree, this would be a little added revenue for the company as well.

Implement in-game hair-style change? Absolutely.

For real world money? No thanks.

We bought the game, we will be paying a subscription at some point... that's quite enough $$$ money spent.

Added as an in-game money sink? Sure.

In fact, I'm not even sure I've ever seen a MMO (outside of F2P/Cash Shop MMOs - and *please* don't let this game go in that direction) where hair-style changes were done for real money. It's always been via in-game currency.

I am also like more char custome & maybe a redesign for the elezen ´s female neck, I am sure i am not the only one think the Elezen female is abit to long.

The hair option, there are only 8 hair, but all em them are short cut to medium and no long hair style neither stylish, the hair are very boring atm

While I don't necessarily need sliders for everything (I admit, I adore Aion's character creation; why can't FFXIV's be that detailed?), the game is in dire, dire need of more options for pretty much everything. In an era of MMOs with character creation like Perfect World, Aion, and Rift, FFXIV's character creation is a cruel joke in comparison.
