I think that would be awesome. I would quite enjoy changing the way my Avatar looks. I like how he looks right now, but in a couple years he'll need a make-over for sure. Nothing worse IMO than having the same looking avatar as someone else in your LS or party.

And sliders would be awesome. As long as the minimum and maximum (and so everything in between)would be reasonable I think it would give those who want more creation power more creation options!

A definite yes on realistic limits if they were to implement sliders. Aion was... horrifying with those people who would make short characters with shoulders that stretched out 15 feet, and necks that pierced the heavens.

The options in character creation was...lacking. But being able to change boobs and butt size? That seems a bit towards the wrong direction. After all it's not Sims 3. (Although it is amazingly fun making Sims, so why not.) Heck, if FFXIV had a character creation like Sims 3, it would be a perfect world. Sadly, it's not a perfect world.

I was actually surprised that a western RPG, like Dragon Age, had a lot of customization. I spent a good amount of time creating my character. Not to mention other games, like the previous mentioned Sims 3.
FFXIV character creation was kind of a let down. I often see others that look like me. =(
