Well after your help I've gotten 71/75 and I've gone full spell speed and 27 determination but I've ran into a little bit of a gil problem U_U 400k per determination IV was not what I was expecting lol but I heard that you can re-meld the relic later so if I filled the last 4 slots with crit could I go back take the crit out and re-meld to full determination without losing all the determination that I already have on the relic?
You will be able to do that. you will remove 4 crits and recover 4 free spots. Your détermination wont be removed. i did it even at the zeta stage
Just curious have any of you went with a crit and spell speed build?
I said i would never do a full Relic ever again... and here i am, lol
Also am going to go ss and det on my Relic
And that comment about abundance of ss on a weapon is a waste... that would be very wrong

A lot of people wouldn't place full Crit and Spell Speed on the Lilith Rod because the Dreadwyrm Staff has similar stats, being full Crit and Spell Speed. Yes, that would involve actually having to get together a competent group of players and learn/clear the fight till you have it on farm, but in comparison, if I spent 1/10th of the amount of time I used on my Zeta, finding a static, I'd have it on farm by now.
I did but I sorta wish I had put Det instead of Crit. It still serves me well and I still hit 500+ DPS for T10 and hover around there for 11, 12 and 13. Its not like I could have predicted that FCOB weapon was going to have Crit and SS way back when Novus was introduced and even if I had I probably still would have went Crit/SS. Stacking Det instead wouldn't have made a massive difference either way.
^ Good to know thanks for your reply.
DetIV is still crazy expensive last time i checked on Leviathan so i will see when i get to that point
That Lilith rod sure is purty![]()
I've optimized my weapon to fit the race I play (I changed from highlander to midlander hyur) as well as party composition - having a sch in the party gives me the bare minimum of 251 piety for AOE fun.
My Zeta goes like this:
53 SS
28 Det
1 Pie
8 Crit
