I played Final Fantasy 1 on the original NES...

I'm 29 and I did too...but by accident. I went to Blockbuster to rent this game:



And yes, go ahead and laugh away, but the game was a hell of a lot of fun (especially if you had others to play with)! Either way, Final Fantasy was in the rental case by mistake. I was really too young to fully grasp what was going on, but it was how I got my first taste of the series, exploring places and achieving victory in my first ever RPG battle.

Ya I'm old enough to have played it on the nes as well but was too young to grasp it at the time. I was living with my older cousin at the time and he was playing FF1. Well while he was gone one day I decided I wanted to try playing it. I messed around with it for a little but then ended up deleting his save. Let's just say he wasn't very happy. Once I got older and became a gamer myself I looked back on that and realized how terrible that was. His stupid little cousin wiped out like 30 hours of progress.
