I've recently returned to FFXIV, bought a time card, which didn't exist when, and was the reason why, i had to quit. I find out that my brother is playing on a different server from the original character I had, and I want to pay for a server transfer. I decide to purchase crysta to do this since I have been unable to get a credit card, and work mostly with cash. Try to use my paypal account which has enough in the balance to pay for it. Only to find out i still require a credit card. What is the point of Paypal then? And can anyone give me assistance?

If you haven't already, tie your PayPal account in with your bank account and transfer funds. I've never had a problem myself.

Most companies refuse to do business with unverified Paypal accounts as a fraud prevention. You need to deposit a small sum of money to your paypal account directly from your bank account to verify it. You do this with your online bank account or with debit/credit card.
