    well, there are numerous people in-game that have told me the premium account is NOT required. however, i have already added the premium as per the guide from the lodestone the other day, or so. but that doesn't help any, because it is impossible for me to purchase the damn points. and i tried again today... the bank thought my card was stolen. and now the bank has locked my card under a pending 48hour investigation, even though i told them there was zero unauthorized activity.


    *sigh* either way, Square Enix sure did a bang up job with this. just got my income tax today and can't even spend for another 2 days. THANK YOU, Square Enix.

    The premium account is not required, I purchased mine without getting the premium account.

    well... i don't know why i am unable to make the purchase. the banks simply won't allow it. and after the most recent attempt, they place my bank account under a 48hour hold due to suspicious activity. and again, from a total of SIX different banks i was unable to make the transaction. they all said the same exact thing, they don't authorize international transactions. and again, neither a Visa or MasterCard pre-paid would work either.

    and then we got the Twitch stream linked by the Community Rep. which isn't even active anymore. and to boot, they fail to mention that a Premium account is NOT required on Nico Nico to access the stream. (actually, i think Premium was required during the actual time of the stream. but is no longer required when accessing the stream through Timeshift.)



    anyhow, so like... how the hell do other NA region players get this? why the hell did SE even bother linking this to us through the NA lodestone? just to troll us and waste our time?

    come on people... quit being stingy... :P please tell me how i can go about making this international transfer. please? the banks won't allow it, and i have tried pre-paid cards from wal-mart. there must be a specific way... won't someone please tell me?

    I bought the tickets as well. Good to know (at the very least) that it can take some time to get the code. At first, I was really confused as I had no code. But, I'm understanding I have to wait for an e-mail now.

    A couple of things I noticed today from my experience:

    Credit cards: The "Verified by Visa" part seemed to fail on me. It never got to the point where I needed to enter my password for approval. It would simply attempt to load, then go back to the payment screen with an error. When I called the CC company, they couldn't see any pending charges at all. I also tried my MC, same issue (but I didn't call).

    Debit card: At first when I tried, I had the same issue where it wouldn't prompt for a PW. When I tried the debit card again, it magically worked and I was able to enter my PW and the first transaction of 1000 went through. When I tried to do the 2nd transaction (for the remaining 500 points), my account was frozen. Had to call the bank, and they took care of it right away for me.

    My friend was also trying to get his cards to go through, and NOTHING was working for him either. I ended up getting him credits. It's obviously not the ideal situation, but maybe you can find a friend in-game who can help out with this.

    Sorry it's not working, I know it's frustrating ><
