If the dps is good he dies before he even does a second slabber.
I've never seen DPS that good. In every run I've been in, there's always 2-4 DPS who suck badly enough to where it's only possible to kill Cerberus at the end of the 2nd Belly phase or right before the chains are put on for the 2nd time. I've never seen anything better than that, which should tell you how bad the players are around here.
People wipe in that dungeon? Huh.
Truth. Faster belly phase is better than a small amount of damage extra.Oh you're one of THOSE. There is zero reason to hold the chain hostage it helps nothing. Why is a Tank holding chains anyway? Why aren't you pulling adds? The Tanks are the first thing Healers will throw a heal on you don't want to be near the chains. Holding them hostage just prolongs the time before the next belly phase which is a huge chunk of damage in other words pointless.
I hate it when the red dragonfly tether (prey) is put on the MT while tanking Five Headed Dragon.
People are doing that nowadays.
Because they are dumb XD. If the OT's are not taking it then just pass it to somebody else like anyone else is fine so why they go for the MT i have no idea lol. Ideally should be OT's but i find in DF most Tanks are just there for the fast queue time they have no intention of doing anything at all. When it comes to be MT they all stand there looking at each other until somebody finally pulls because of people getting annoyed.
The OT's will do basically nothing if you are lucky one might try pulling adds on Cerberus. With no OT around for the Dragonfly a person will just stand still dying XD. Still the funniest thing on that boss is that some people still have not figured out what to do with the purple and orange marks. You just see them get marked then they run in circles and on the purple one they are being chased by 3-4 people trying to save them lol.

They are actually either there for the guaranteed rolls, or running tank because (like you said) other tanks can't be trusted to grab the adds and clump them. This and Syrcus Tower are the two instances where tanks have the highest que timers because there's only room for one. Can get in as a DPS in sub-5 minutes, healer idk (5-10?) but tank ques can go 20+ :d

Ouch, I'm on Aether, and I have never waited for 5+mins queueing solo as tank for either of these instances. They are actually either there for the guaranteed rolls, or running tank because (like you said) other tanks can't be trusted to grab the adds and clump them. My run this past week gifted me with a NIN who bitched at me and the other healer for not helping to DPS at all. I simply responded, "I gladly would if you stopped getting hit by every single attack." The vote-kick window popped up (I assumed the other healer did it at the time) and then he was gone.
I'm glad I got my drop that run. Having to do WoD more than once a week is starting to feel more and more like a chore for gear.
