PS3/PS4

QUESTION:

I am still playing on my PS3 and I am saving for a PS4.

My question is: Will I be able to TRANSFER (A Realm Reborn) which is already on my PS3 to the PS4?

Also...

Will I be able to TRANSFER (Heavensward) from the PS3 to the PS4, or should I just purchase the Heavensward PS4 version and wait to purchase my PS4

You can transfer the stuff over from PS3 to PS4. Go to your account on the Mogstation for details. But keep in mind that if you do the transfers after April 1, 2015 you will need to repurchase both ARR and Heavensward for the PS4.

BUT.... If I don't transfer REALM REBORN before April 1st, I will have to repurchase the game AGAIN? Am I clear? Is that correct? If it is... that is so unrighteous.

What if I don't get my PS4 by then? That does not seem fair.

They gave folks a year. :/ I was actually rather impressed that they offered it as a free upgrade at all rather than just requiring everyone buy a new game for a different system (similar to how people have to buy pc and ps versions if they want the option to play on different systems.)

Same if you decided you wanted to play on PC you would have to buy a PC copy of the game, and anyways if you did have a PS4 and did the transfer you would lose your PS3 license anyways and would only be able to play on PS4 unless you rebought the PS3 version.

Ya, a year was enough time. I'm just having hard times right now with work. That WAS plenty of time to purchase a PS4.

Still, though if you have already purchased a game, I don't see why you would have to repurchase it again. I DO understand that it's for a new platform, but still. Everything seems to be about money and profit these days. You'd think they would give a discount since you already purchased the game, played it for a year and maxed out it's playing content.
