Unable to obtain XP in field

Over the last few days I've been having an issue. In the field fighting monsters I am not getting any experience. I get drops when they happen, but no experience, no notification of experience earned and sometimes the creature dies and it doesn't even say I've killed it. I lost out on mundo xp from a completed hunter log. I do get experience with crafting.

The only time I get battle experience is in dungeons. It is making it harder to play as all that field xp adds up, it is also disheartening.

If the mob is 10 levels or more below your level i belive you dont get any exp.

Odd... I never had that issue before, especially with the hunting log. And some things I killed I believe the day prior I had been getting plenty of xp for. If that is so, farming drops is even more a pain. :/

Fates will always give experience if applicable, because of the level sync. But in the open world anything under 10 levels from you character will only drop items. I believe your Chocobo will always get exp though, unless at cap.
