Reward idea for the beastmen tribes

Heya guys! I had an idea and I wanted to suggest it here and see if it would interest some people.

Thus far, I have not done any beast man tribe quests since they are mostly useless in my opinion. They don't give anything in particular that makes me want to grind their rep and reach the max level. But what if they gave unique pieces of gear? The beastmen tribes are know to have very cool and unique tribal/Aztec like armors and weapons with awesome headgears and jewelry.

Wouldn't it make sense for them to give the WoL interesting trinkets and pieces of equipment to bind him/her to the tribe since the player character do become somewhat of a brother or a partial member of their tribe? If they were to add such, I would go max them out in a heartbeat! That would be awesome! Also, the items are already in-game. It wouldn't take too much time from the devs to tweak these items for human characters.

What do you guys think?

I made a forum account just to say that I love this idea! It would really make me want to do beast tribe quests more. Mounts are one thing and they do give me a little motivation but this would be awesome!

What's wrong with catering to people who want to collect mounts/minions AND people who want to glamour their character with some beast tribe specific gear? Not everyone is a completionist, a lot of people like to make their character look cool too!

can confirm... only have ixal at max and still haven't bought the minion or mount. But create some snazzy gear and i'd be all over getting the rest to max.

The Ixal Tribe have gloves you can get with Oaknots. About it though. i70 and pretty decent stats for what they cost.

Tell me how many people have completed the beastmen tribe quests... The answer I'm sure will be: ''Not many.'' or at least, it is the case on my server. Mounts and minions is not exactly what's best to encourage players to complete your content and let's face it... Those mounts aren't the best looking ones for the work it takes to get there, mostly being meh looking monsters turned into mounts without even a saddle. I personally don't care about them as I am happy with my chocobo. I believe many think the same hence the low percentage of people who completed it. As a game designer, you have to think of what everyone wants. Some people give more importance to their characters appearance than the collectible mounts they put on their shelf. I think it would be a good idea to put the awesome beastmen accessories and headgears to good use like what they did with the goblin mask!

It's a nice addition but that's the mask of a villain who has nothing to do with the beastmen. And... Well... That mask looks really weird on anyone who wears it. The eye isn't even aligned properly :/

That's a step in the right direction in my opinion. The Ixal tribe is the only tribe of beastmen I have interacted with thus far. I also have those gloves glamoured. They look awesome! We need more gear with feathers!
