    Rule 1) Always Be Casting
Rule 2) Learn to move in a way that enforces Rule 1 with the highest potency casts possible.

I can't stress these points enough. You can find tons of rotation guides online, but when it comes down to it they are all ineffective if you don't follow the above two rules. They are what separates a good BLM from a great BLM.

don't forget #3 : learn to move without hindering the cast time (aetherial manipulation, sprint and/or cast skipping, etc...)

They say pre-moving in mechanics is important for melees, but it's even more valuable for BLMs

Actually there is a time to transpose in 1v1. When you went into umbral ice and you have fire proc, transpose to astral fire I before using the firestarter proc. Better to use that proc in AF1 rather than UI III.

Make sure you have full MP before you finish casting fire III. If you wont have full mp, You can use this time to throw a bliz I while you wait for full MP. VERY important to cast fire III with full MP. U don't wanna lose a fire 1 cast.

Do you always have the MP to cast thunder II after casting bliz III? it may be worth adding a point or 2 to piety to reach that ideal level.

Think I emptied my limited supply of blm tips in these posts, I only played it for mythflox mule lmao. Good luck with learning more and T10.

Mm. True, that happens if you manage to get a firestarter proc off your last Fire I cast before Blizzard III Thanks for the reminder.

This is why it's Blizzard III -> Blizzard I -> Thunder II. If you get lucky with your trick and get it in time to get it for Thunder II, you risk casting Fire III and having lower MP. Padding a Blizzard I there is almost-always garunteed and gives you gap to get MP back for Thunder II.

It's good you've found your DPS issue, op, but don't forget to look at everyone else as well. 28% at enrage with almost no deaths isn't caused by 1 person at your gear level, it's caused by multiple people doing poorly. (I'm actually shocked you could hit enrage at that % with so few deaths at this point...)

Get your group together and work on rotations and learning how to deal with mechanics

Or you can just wait a bit until they introduce echo in fcob. I think it will be soon enough.

28% is insanely huge :S even if every dps was playing their class in a somewhat lazy way that's still almost unheard of. And yet your add phase stacks sound perfectly normal, so your DPS can't be playing their jobs in such a bad manner as to be 28% behind schedule. There's a lot of breathing time for BLMs to cast between mechanics which come every 30s or so, it just doesn't make any sense unless people are dying left right and centre in the last phase. Don't suppose there are videos of these runs?

I got another run tonight along with helping some people in my FC get used to the fight.
Funny thing is, i still think t9 is harder and we wiped the floor last night

plus i tried out the rotation mentioned previously and we seemed to push phases much much faster than normal x.x

Another way to boost your own DPS, and I don't know if you're doing this -

    X-potions of INT
Potent Poisoning Potions (Most BLM's I see will use this during the 'stack' after killing adds.)

MegaEthers are nice, but take the same CD From X-potions of INT. You kinda have to pick and choose which one you'd prefer.
