Alright so recently I got my novus but I never really understood how the upgrades work.

Gae bolg animus: Strength +37 Vitality +42 Accuracy +40 Critical Hit Rate +28

Now that I upgraded to novus the stats are: Strength + 32 Vitality + 49 Accuracy +27 Critical Hit Rate +23 Determination +14 Skill speed +11

Can anyone here explain to me why my accuracy and crit went down but other 2 attributes got added directly? Also, if there is anyway to fix my relic? This is very confusing to me so any help would be appreciated.

On my sphere scroll I infused Accuracy +27 Critical +23 Determination +14 and Skill speed +11

The sphere scroll removes your battle stats and replaces them with what you infused the scroll with. These new stats grow as your weapon grows, they improve, just like your STR and VIT stats on the weapon. You can redo the sphere scroll by talking with Jhalzan in Hyrstmill, but I think you will have to fuse another 75 materia. I'm not sure on that because I am quite pleased with my Longinus Zeta stats.

Wheb you make a novus the old stats are deleted and replaced by what you put on the scroll. The new stats will be exactly what you put in your scroll.

If you want to change your stats you have to buy a new scroll, have jalzhan copy the novus stats to your new scrill, then go to the guy in central thanalan and he can remove stats of your choice 1 pt at a time from your new scroll copy. You can then add new stats just like normal. Alex and materia of stat you want to add until your new scroll has the stats you want. Then take the adjusted scroll back to jalzhan and he will update your novus with new scroll stats.

You do NOT need to redo all 75. Of you want to change 1 point, it costs 1 alex and the materia (can break like normal). If you want to change 5 points, it's 5 alex and 5 materia (and breaks)
