Flying Mounts Question

Hullo forums, I had a quick question I was hoping to get an answer to regarding flying mounts in HW. I believe I read somewhere (If I'm wrong then please correct me ) that the dev's were trying to make it so that the fat chocobo mount would eventually be able to fly? If this is true, is there, by any chance, any plans in the works to make it so that other 2.0 mounts will be able to fly, or is fat chocobo kind of a special case? I know I have a couple of mounts that I would love to use come 3.0 in addition to the new ones, so just thought I would ask and see if I get a response. I know something like this is low on the HW priority list, but any info would be appreciated

Our current mounts will not gain flying. I think the fat chocobo gaining flying was an innocent jest. If they do make a fat chocobo fly, it would be an entirely new mount, not the current 2.0 one.

You'd think the Ahriman could become a flying mount pretty easily if they were inclined to do it!

Was thinking the same, especially since it's considered airborne by the game. Hopefully they do something with it later on.
