there may be corruption issues with the data from the forced disconnect. Have you opened a ticket with SE at the support portal? This forum is designed more around being a user-to-user support tool than something more direct to SE (details are in the sticky welcoming you to the forum).

If it indeed is something screwed up with the character data, it will require an exchange of sensitive information and they would direct you to the portal anyways...may as well take the more direct route to the source from the start.
