I think this error is (30002) is internet issue you having packet lost it may be due to your ISP. You most wait for the servers/core system to be fix what happen is your ISP is losing to many packet and the Servers D/c you. So try and open your ports. If it's not a internet issue then i don't know what you could be having.

    UDP - 55296 - 55551
    TCP - 54992 - 55551
    UDP - 443

and by some reason you don't feel like opening ports because you feel players should not fix issue that should be fix by SE. Then you going to have this issue to you try and see if that fix it for you.

If that does not work then it your ISP losing to many packet from the servers and you most wait for the Servers fix / Core system. So there no need to spam the forums for this issue they known about it for over 1year. There noting they can do to they fix the servers issue.

All it going to happen is you going to get ban from the forums which then mean you get ban from FFXIV for spamming the forums. If your FFXI account is also link to the same account you using to talk on here then guess what both your ffxi and ffxiv would be ban for you spamming the forums.

There noting sadly we can do about it and the GM going to say the same thing about this issue. You most wait like everyone else who getting this issue due to there ISP losing to many pocket lost and the servers D/c you.

Also try and delete and redownload FFXIV maybe that also fix your issue if the port did noting for you. If anything then you most wait for the servers to be fixed. Also if you using wireless you should plug your computer in and see if that fix your issue. If there people downloading and using the internet at your house a lot then this could also get you a d/c from the game.

Trying to help you out here try this

    Opening ports
    If wireless use cable
    And re-download ffxiv

My ports are forwarded, I'm not using wireless, I've already reinstalled FFXIV, I've had Time Warner come out to check my connections.... This is on SE's end, it only started happening after 1.18 for myself and many others. All of a sudden after 1.18 people all over the world with different ISP's started having the same issues, yet you think it is the ISP's fault? lol

Yes because why does it only happen to a few and not everyone? why when people forwarded to download faster it still take long when it only take some of us 10-15min with forwarded. i think this issue is both ISP and FFXIV servers not only your ISP.

Did you try to log in after it happens, log properly out (completely) and log back in? This issue is pretty common at times and seems to be a hardware problem on SE's end. The only way around it is to get around that broken server(yes every world has multiple servers :P).

I've had the same issue the past 4 days.
My connection speed and ping seems fine, packet loss ratio also seems 0-1% so I'm unsure if this really is a packet loss issue (at least for me).
Tried logging right out of client then back in, resetting router etc. etc.
I imagine its something to do with the routing or how my ISP relates to the XIV servers directly.

    http://www.pingtest.net/
    http://speedtest.net/

Are both useful for testing your speed and connection.
Although for me the results come back more than fine.
But I'm still getting the 30002 sometimes every 30mins, sometimes less, sometimes I get lucky and stay on longer.

I wouldn't call it an ISP issue, at least if it's the same as it was a year ago. People randomly get it, no matter their ISP and location. Some people just as randomly don't get it. It's all up to luck, and it's up to SE to fix it.

Spent over $200 on this trying different routers and network cards. Finally found a combination that worked then all of a sudden it is back.
