Things SE Need to fix if they want to sell own products!

Lets try and condense this down into one thread so SE has a TO DO LIST:

1: Region Locking keys I understand the reasoning so people don't get the game cheaper but when you live in one country and move to another your making life are to give you money.

2. Account Migration, we live in a world where we don't all stay in the country we were born in if you don't want to remove region locks fine allow us to migrate our accounts so we can use the products in the country we live in. Looks to be our biggest complaint, come on SE get with the times and fix this please!

3. Availability, people want to buy the game from a trusted source and not be forced into the chaos of a store that clearly was never designed deal with high volumes of traffic if your going to have it on your store fine but let us know when we can expect to see it in our favorite stores.

4. Preparation: you have over 4 million players you should have some idea by now that you need bandwidth, servers to prepare for the day one craze if you don't want to put out the resources don't funnel you customer base to one store places like amazon deal with a lot more traffic than 4 million every day with hardy any issues.

5. Customer Service, SE you my friend have by far the worst out there with one lined answers not even trying to understand what it is your customer has asked and with things like account region locking it makes it very hard for them to do anything.

6. Steam am sure your aware there is issue with people on steam wanting the physical collectors am sorry but it should be 1 version works with everything not other way around this just waste development time in building 16 different versions for the same platform.

7. Conversion rate, I am sorry this is just greed $130 doesn't convert to 130 British Sterling or the other way around, you might not know this but we are not dumb this clearly a rip off.

I don't reallz mind store being down for a while, the release is far away but I agree that account migration should be a possible thing.

7. Make a sequel to The World Ends with You. I will, in fact, buy all SE things if it would make this possible.

In all seriousness I agree about region locking. This isn't 2000 anymore and games are released everywhere mostly around the same time. Come on now.

After speaking with some of the customer rep it is very clear to me they have no clue what they are doing state side anyway.

I think that's the biggest issue for me--lack of preparation. They are a large company, which means that they should be better prepared to deal with these issues. Rather than panicking and having the right hand and the left hand frantically cross-checking each other and not able to say anything, they should have planned for and been prepared to address all likely concerns. The stores should never have had problems because they should have anticipated and prepared for the customer demand, the prices should have been converted correctly--and if not that, then all customer service reps should have been prepared with SOME sort of explanation other than that "That's the price." There is no excuse for not being able to "answer with certainty" when it comes to something that has presumably been in the planning process for months.

It's 2015. Square really needs to stop handling major things like this as if they were still an indie company scrambling to make ends meet.

I just shiver thinking how it'll be on June 23 (or June 19)...

I hope I'm wrong, but from the looks of it, it's gonna be FAR, FAR WORSE than it was on 2013 when 2.0 was released and people could not create characters, could not login, couldn't progress with the story quests due to instanced content (non-DF) behaving crazily due to high demand for these contents (talk to NPC, wait minutes for some loading that never loaded, just to get an error message, do this again 20 times and eventually it works), couldn't even access DF at all 'try again later', .....


The whole region-locked stuff, with no option for account migration, and evil conversion rates between real-world currencies, blatantly ripping off Europeans and even more so the British, shows just how narrow minded Square Enix developers can be, which I consider absolutely outrageous.
21st century Sakoku, perhaps ?
