To: Yoshi P and the Dev Team,
It was mentioned by Yoshi P that Summoner (along with many jobs) will be getting their own Job Limit Breaks in Heavensward.
There has been much feedback early in 2.0 Beta and beyond for Summoner, and the tiny size of the Summoned Egis (and their general job feel).
I realize the Dev Feedback in Beta was that with the amount of Players that could have their Summons (Egis) out and running around town, that it would be too much stress on the game / servers to have High Detailed, Large Summons. It's unfortunate, but understandable. But ultimately the issue is that:
The Summoner in this game feels nothing like the classic "Final Fantasy Summoners" of the past. When you think of all the awesome Summoners and Summons from past games, you think of the characters like Rydia (FF IV) and Yuna (FF X), etc.
If you ask any random gamer on the street about what a "Final Fantasy Summon" is like, they'll tell you about the "epic attacks" from Ifrit, Shiva, Bahamut, Knights of the Round, etc.
So perhaps a way to reconcile the discrepancy (although it'd happen very rarely):
* Would the Dev Team consider having the New Summoner Limit Break in 3.0 Heavensward be like a Primal's (Summons) "Epic Attack"?
I know you'd have to make a new Limit Break Animation for each Primal (Egi) but it'd be SO worth it! You have the 3D Models already. You just need to customize the VFX and Animation for it.
For those that haven't seen it, Square's Final Fantasy XV has shown off RAMUH and it looks AMAZING!

Please consider something more epic for 3.0 (as a Limit Break). That way most of the time it's still tiny Egis and about DOTS (sigh), but at least the Limit Break would give a nod to the Classic Final Fantasy Summoner idea of the past.
Thanks!
